Louie Freeman, of Freeman Custom Homes, has been in the building industry since 1975. A veteran of the Navy, Louie graduated from William Jewell College with a degree in business. Combining his Navy electrician training with his business education, he began an electrical business, which he operated for several years. In 1982 Louie was ready to have his very first custom home built for himself and family. Altogether, the experience was less than satisfying. Louie felt that a builder should try to meet his customer’s needs by emphasizing quality and service. Thus, Freeman Custom Homes was born.
Today, Louie personally works with each homeowner from the design and planning stages through completion to ensure that they are completely satisfied. Every home is designed and built for the owner’s individual needs, and Louie works hard to make sure that he knows what the buyer wants and expects. Louie takes pride in each home and oversees the construction as if he were building it for himself. He believes that good quality stands the test of time and that it must start from the ground up.

Recently, Louie’s oldest son Brian, a graduate of Missouri Western State College with a degree in business, has joined Louie in the building industry. Together they hope to make your building experience as pleasant and rewarding as possible. Whether you choose to be highly involved or can only visit your project occasionally, you can be assured that their goal is to make your custom home building experience a great one.
